Citrix & Datacraft Strike Partnership to Bring End-to-End Virtualization to Asia Pacific

Application delivery infrastructure provider, Citrix Systems has entered into a strategic partnership with Singapore based Datacraft Asia Ltd to accelerate the adoption of end-to-end virtualization in Asia Pacific.

In line with the agreement, Citrix will expand its existing relationship with Datacraft‘s Microsoft Practice to help businesses manage applications, desktops and servers efficiently on the Windows platform, offering world-class application delivery solutions that are comprehensive and well-integrated with the Microsoft environment.

Promising to transform the landscape of the computing industry, virtualization has grown rapidly due to the unprecedented agility it provides to businesses. Trends like globalization, mobility, offshoring, and regulatory compliance are driving IT executives to spend more time focusing on how their infrastructure delivers mission-critical business applications to end users securely, easily and efficiently to increase their ability to keep pace with the requirements of an ever dynamic world.

“Companies in the Pacific are increasingly looking for enabling technologies that help simplify management, reduce costs and improve security, all of which are core to the fundamentals of running a business. In partnering with Datacraft, we are confident that our combined expertise will provide the most compelling end-to-end virtualization solution to the businesses,” said Dennis Rose, Vice President, Pacific, Citrix Systems.

In announcing the partnership, Andy Cocks, Director of Solutions and Alliances, Datacraft Asia, said: “The partnership is synergistic for Datacraft and Citrix as there is a good complementary fit between the two organizations. In combining Citrix’s leadership in application delivery with Datacraft’s technical expertise on the Microsoft platform, our extensive geographical reach across Pacific region will provide customers with the scalability to meet the challenges of today’s business environment.”
