Fortinet Enhances Email Security Platform

Fortinet announced an upgrade to its high-performance, multi-layered FortiMail secure email messaging platform, which has been proven highly effective at reducing unwanted email as certified through independent ICSA Labs testing.

In formal, independent ICSA Labs testing, Fortinet's enterprise-class FortiMail-4000A appliance effectively reduced unwanted e-mail and successfully recognized email messages from legitimate sources.

"As one of the first vendors to be certified under the new ICSA Labs Anti-Spam Certification Program, we believe our FortiMail platform sets an industry benchmark for solutions in this sector," said Anthony James, vice president of products for Fortinet.

James adds, the ICSA certification is validation of the high quality of the FortiMail appliance, which combines robust threat protection with significantly improved usability to reduce system resource consumption and operational expenses.
